STEX is pleased to announce the start of construction on a new two-story production building at our Ayutthaya, Thailand manufacturing site. This expansion marks an important step in strengthening our regional manufacturing footprint and preparing for future growth across multiple industries.
The new facility is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026 and reflects STEX’s long-term commitment to supply chain resilience, advanced manufacturing, and regulatory readiness.
Expanding Capacity to Support Global Demand
The new building will add approximately 2,500 square meters of production and operational space across two floors, allowing STEX to expand capacity while improving workflow efficiency and production flexibility.
Designed as a modern manufacturing environment, the facility will support:
Power cords and cable assemblies
Wire harness and custom interconnect solutions
Products serving the AI and electronics industries
Flexible layouts for future product lines and customer-specific projects
This expansion enables STEX to respond more effectively to increasing demand from global customers while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Designed for Future Compliance and Growth
From the planning stage, the Ayutthaya expansion has been designed with future regulatory requirements in mind. In addition to operating under our existing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, the new facility layout and processes are being prepared to support ISO 13485 certification in the future.
This readiness positions STEX to serve customers in regulated sectors such as:
Medical and healthcare-related devices
IT infrastructure and data-related equipment
Precision electronics and mission-critical applications
By building compliance capability into the facility from day one, STEX ensures long-term scalability without disruption to operations.
Strategic Location in Southeast Asia
Thailand continues to play a critical role in STEX’s regional strategy. Located in Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok, the plant benefits from strong industrial infrastructure, access to skilled labor, and efficient logistics connections to ports and airports.
The Thailand site complements STEX’s broader operational network, which includes:
A Shanghai-based trading company managing sourcing of cable materials, electronic components, and plastic parts
Strategic manufacturing collaboration with long-term partners in Kunshan and Dongguan, China
This multi-location structure provides customers with flexibility in country-of-origin planning, lead time optimization, and risk diversification.
Supporting Innovation and the AI and electronics Industry
The new Ayutthaya facility will place particular emphasis on supporting customers in the AI and electronics industries, where product reliability, traceability, and process control are critical.
Planned capabilities include:
Dedicated production areas for AI-related cable and interconnect products
Enhanced quality control and inspection workflows
Space allocation for semi-automated processes and future equipment upgrades
Improved material flow and warehouse coordination
These investments support STEX’s role as a reliable partner for customers requiring consistent performance and scalable production.
What This Means for Our Customers
With the completion of the new building by the end of 2026, customers working with STEX can expect:
Increased production capacity without compromising quality
Greater flexibility for customized or multi-region supply strategies
Readiness for future medical and regulated projects
Shorter response times and improved operational efficiency
This expansion reinforces STEX’s ability to grow alongside our customers and support long-term programs with confidence.
Looking Ahead
The start of construction at our Ayutthaya plant represents more than physical expansion—it reflects STEX’s continued investment in people, processes, and infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of global markets.
As construction progresses, we will continue to share updates on milestones and development as we move toward completion by the end of 2026.
